Your day begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Moshi. Our guide will brief you on the day’s activities, and you’ll enjoy a scenic drive to Rau Forest Reserve.

8:30 AM – Arrival at Rau Forest Reserve
Arrive at the forest entrance, where you’ll get a brief introduction to the area, its biodiversity, and conservation efforts. Rau Forest is known for its lush, green canopy and unique wildlife, including colobus monkeys, beautiful bird species, and an array of butterflies.

9:00 AM – Guided Nature Walk
Embark on a guided nature walk through the forest with an experienced guide. Learn about the different types of trees, plants, and their traditional uses. Spot colobus monkeys and enjoy the sounds of the forest as you connect with nature.

10:30 AM – Visit the Local Water Springs
After the forest walk, continue to the nearby natural springs. The crystal-clear waters of these springs make for a perfect spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy the tranquil setting.

11:30 AM – Cultural Visit to Nearby Villages

1:00 PM – Traditional Lunch

2:30 PM – Biking (Optional Activity)
For those who wish to explore more, an optional bike ride around the forest is available. This ride takes you through small village paths and scenic spots around the forest reserve. (Additional cost applies.)

3:30 PM – Return to Moshi
Depart from Rau Forest for a short drive back to Moshi town, enjoying views of Mount Kilimanjaro on the way.

4:00 PM – Drop-off at Hotel
