Arusha National Park is the only park in Northern Tanzania where you can enjoy a walking safari. Here, a safari involves a gentle trek with a ranger, allowing you to explore the tropical forest and observe animals outside of a vehicle. One of the highlights is the opportunity to hike up to the crater of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second highest peak and the fifth highest in Africa, situated within the park. This is a fantastic addition to your Tanzanian adventures!

Following the walking safari, a jeep will take you to the farthest part of the park – the Momela Lakes, where you can spot pink flamingos along with many other animals along the way.
