Tarangire Safari Tour
overview
Tarangire National Park is renowned for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds that gather near the main water source, the Tarangire River. In addition to elephants and their young, the park is inhabited by zebras, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, buffaloes, and various other predators and herbivores.
Bird lovers will find Tarangire a paradise, with over 550 bird species offering excellent bird-watching opportunities. Among the most commonly seen are the brightly colored yellow-necked spurfowls, white-crowned shrikes, and black-necked weavers.
The park’s vast rolling grasslands, dense acacia bushes, and distinctive baobab and palm trees create a unique landscape that will leave a lasting impression.
